So a few folks noticed I haven't been around as much. I kinda got busy the last year with some health and fitness related things.
In January I started and completed a 12 week fitness challenge run by EAS/Abbot Body for Life. I did very well in my 12 weeks, and posted my challenge before/after shots to DPC.
I found out this morning that I placed in the top ten for my age category. To give some perspective here, probably 200,000 people around the world requested challenge packets. Of that 6000 sent them in. I'm in one of the deepest age categories in the contest.
Needless to say, I am SERIOUSLY stoked. :) I don't get anything but bragging rights. For me, that's more than enough. |

Actually, I think your benefits are much more than just bragging rights. :) You go girl!!!!!
I'm getting ready to "restart" my fitness training and trying to get back "on the wagon" of physical fitness.
You are my inspiration.

Here's the thing to remember. Really small things will make a huge difference in your fitness levels. It doesn't have to be running a half marathon. It's taking the stairs, not the elevator. Heck, even leaving part of dinner for tomorrow makes an impact.
Small steps. |
