I'm looking for a place to stay in Boston for 1 or 2 days. It's for my wife, her sister and I. We just wanna visit Boston and we don't have much of a fortune to rent a room so I was wondering if anyone in Boston knows a good cheap place for 3 ppl just to sleep and take a shower, that's it. If anyone wants to invite us, that's alright too! :)
Thanks!
Edit: Btw, we're aged 20-25.

I stayed at a hostel while in boston, it was near south station, i believe. Not the Ritz, but it was clean and we slept in bunks and had hot showers. :) Hostelling is often a great way to travel if all you want is a place to sleep and shower for the night and then you're off again all day. |

I agree with yann ... they often call them Youth Hostels but don't seem to cater to any age or care what age you are. You may have to buy a one year hostelling membership ... but that is not expensive at all ... maybe 10 to 20 bucks.
If they are part of the International Hostelling Association, they look VERY hard at their quality and cleanliness and you can get a room for three or four people (a double bed with a set of bunk beds with full private en suite bathroom) for like a quarter of what a hotel would charge or even less. |

1. will you have a car?
2. are you afraid of really big dogs?
I live about 15 miles west of boston, have extra bedrooms. Train from here goes to north station. Might work. |

Yeah we got a car and we're not afraid of really big dogs :)
If it's possible for 2 nights, how much would you charge?
We would leave Montreal at around 1 or 3 pm on a friday, sleep over friday night, visit Boston all saturday, sleep again and leave in the morning on sunday.
How long does it take to go downtown Boston from your place by car? |
