Can anyone id these ducks?



I took the picture in Central Pennsylvania if that helps.

Looks like the one in back is Bob and I believe that's his wife Mabel.

All I can tell you so far is that they're domestic or hybrid :)

My first thought was mallard mutant, judging by the curling tail feathers, but apparently nearly all domestic breeds originally started with mallards anyway! The still crossbreed easily.

Where did you see them, eg. park,deep wilderness?

Then my guess would be domestic crested crossed with mallards, but I might be totally nuts!
