DPC has turned five years old. Who has been here the longest without reaching the top five in a challenge?

 Me:
952 day without a top five finish

 Who else?

To help with day here is a link to a Julian date calender.

809 days without a serious injury! ...er, I mean without a serious finish in a challenge.

And I used this for calculating duration.

edit: I am still scratching my head at the Julian date calendar...

 I heard a rumor that he doesn't even exist - he's one of Langdon's ghost accounts. |

As BeeCee posted, Drew may win for absolute time, but GeneralE has to take top honors with 405 challenges entered over 1742 days, and his highest placing is 13th. |

Okay Art, there are 4 people in that post you quoted; kirbic, me, Drew, and GeneralE. I assume the insanity comment refers to GeneralE, but I just wanna be sure! :P |

And Drew HAS won a ribbon. But I was going on ones who were actually active. It's kinda hard to ribbon without entering! (tho' I imagine Drew or Langdon could if they really wanted to ;) ) |

 I should hope so!

I'm glad someone already did the research, 'cause I was just about to post that I didn't have a top-20 finish -- when did I get 13th? Interestingly, I also signed up on the 13th ... |

Well, with only 22 entries in the challenge, the odds of a top-20 finish were rather higher than usual ... : ) Thanks for looking that up!

Whatever happened to that postcard project, anyway? With something like VistaPrint, the cost is not unreasonable (about $35 for 100) -- maybe people could download the image and order their own supply, or groups could order together for better pricing.

If you use that link, you can get 25% off your first order. |

I don't know how y'all are counting the days, but if we're talking about active accounts, I bet it's agrimace, who joined DPC on Feb 11, 2002, and has me beat by five days. His best is 56/122; mine is 21/108. |

Oh yeah, I was forgetting that council was listed before regular members, not by date joined. I guess you're right! (technically..)

I still vote for GeneralE, cuz he's got sooooo many entries :D
