So, I am sitting here trying to figure out how to stay in WPL4 with this annoying red reminder laughing at my from my home page.

You know the one, that tells us when we are about out of time :( SO I am again unemployed ( ie freelance photog) and thinking its gonna take me a month or 2 to renew, and all my portfolio will be gone etc...

Then in flaps Deb ( Melethia)on her dpc wings and ups for my membership...

And I might add, its not the first time...

So Kudos to Deb, who seems to give so much of herself to us here.
Sincerest thanks Deb :)

I have decided that the very first time I make money from photography ( and I actually have some things brewing!) I will sponsor someones membership as a way of paying it forward.

Great to hear that, and congrats! :)
I'd like to shamelessly hijack to share with you that i felt the same when my membership was expiring, and Joe came to the rescue. That is also how I was able to join you as Team LuckyPants!

Ok, since this is about to go off page, and I think it's great that you guys have acknowledged your angels (I much prefer this heart-warming thread to the bickering), I must say, BUMP to this thread.

Bumpity-bump!

Raise the roof for Melethia, Ken, Joe, and unnamed others who've supported the DPC community.

Sorry, guys, I couldn't figure out how to link the profiles. :(

This is my second experience in 2 days ( first was Arjun sending membership for Greetmir) of fellow members supporting others and beleive me it makes me feel so sspecial to be me a part of such wonderful people. Its indeed a great community here with people fighting each other for their art symbolised by a virtual ribbon and yet help each other when in comes to material shortfalls. My Kudos to all the people here and the great spirit
my spellings suck... so the edits

Geesh... I'm all blushy and stuff now...

The reason I did that is because Rae-Ann is one of the folks I met when I first became a bit more "active" in DPC. Nice lady, absolutely wonderful sense of humor (and sense of self) and I like her work.

And Rae-Ann, I'm looking forward to seeing your rapid rise in the world of freelance photography. I expect quirky stories, much like those dealing with the tranny ho's and such. :-)

Kinda funny - the one in my picture actually is a female. I'm pretty sure. Mostly sure... But I do think they did shop at the same place.
