DAY 16 is up for me too, I'm going to take sometime commenting on all the PAD blogs today so if you dont see a comment from me yet today, hang in there ;o)

Day 15 is up - I am always a day a behind because I work swing shift. As well a couple of other uploads - The Rocky Mountains. Overall this has been a great learning experience. It is really not so hard for me to find something to photograph every day - making it interesting, that's another story.

I have managed to keep up and have already posted for today Day 16. Still haven't found out how to add RSS feed though. I am way behind at looking at other blogs since I am having to do everything at my office and I am not here very long. Hope to catch up when we get our power back!

I remember why I got rid of the blogger rss feed. It was in one of those $blogdadada formats and I couldn't put that on my portal page. Does anyone know if the blogger rss can be put into a regular html link form thingy or something, or if I am going to have to get an external 'feeder'?

I've had some troubles uploading shots to blogger. I find that if I try to upload between 9 pm and 12 midnight (Eastern US time), it sometimes won't do it. Busy, maybe?

That said, I am finally caught up. :)

the URL for an rss from blogger should look like this:

//yoursitehere.blogspot.com/atom.xml

That is the URL for all blogger RSS feeds... if you have a google homepage, you can click "add stuff" and just type in the URL.

I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to comment on my blog! I WILL make it to your photoblogs! I am just immersed in a 30 day self-portrait thing right now and I am trying to make it into all the challenges possible before WPL4 starts so I get in the habit ;) SORRY for my delays :( You are all fabulous.

So I add that and other people use it to get updates? Or are updates automatically sent? (My son's high school band blog has RSS feed and it sends updates to me automatically, but he uses a mac)

OK, I admit it. I am old. I just don't get it, even with blogger help. And even if I can figure out how to enable my blogs to feed, how do I get my computer to receive every one else's updates? HELP, Please? (Pretend I am in kindergarten and start at the beginning!)

Edit: I added the URL to my site, but I guess I didn't do it as a link. Maybe that was the problem.

Hi Chaimelle,

Your blog automatically produces three RSS feeds that other people can read, and you need to do nothing. Your default feed is: Chaimelle's PAD RSS Feed.

In order for you to receive auto updates for everyone else, you need to have a feed reader. I recommend Bloglines, but there are a zillion others that are just as good. Some people use Google, Yahoo, Feedburner, etc.

The simplest and best way that I can help you is to send you a link that will share all my feeds with you, and walk you through the Bloglines process step-by-step from the beginning to the end with no worries. If you want it, just PM me with your "real" e-mail address and I can send you everything you need and in just a few clicks you'll be all set.

Here's the deal: Blogspot/blogger (where your blog is) is a place for you to post, not to read. If you want to read the feeds for everyone else, you'll need to visit a different webpage (ie. Bloglines website) and then everything will all be in one place for you.

THANK YOU L2! So I've been trying to do something for a couple of days that was already done! (No wonder I am on Team Suck) I will PM you tomorrow to try to set up bloglines. It would be great not to have to go through each link every day, especially the photo a week blogs since they can be updated any time.

It doesn't look like I will get any more rss feeds now so if anyone wants it here is the Google reader opml file for the 60 I have.

Right click and "Save Target as..." opml.xml

that's awesome james ... thanks for your hard work. i've made a new tab on my google homepage just for PAD and PAWs ... but i'm having trouble uploading the whole xml file. how do i do that??? (sorry, stupid question)
