I just entered, too. Number 81. Now there are 82.
After mine scores in the low 4s, I'm nominating myself for an OOBIE. I mean if Deb gets one, I want one. :)
Jeb, I'm just excited to see your procrastination entry. And Noraneko, I can't wait to see what I boosted by commenting negatively.

I'm just TWITCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so far and away my personal best!
I did everything I could to go away and only made it 'til about 10:00.
Now I've got about 25 minutes 'til it rolls over, and I don't know what to do with myself.
Does an OOBIE have to have a low score, or can it have to do with how the entry relates to the others?
I'm going to twitch 'til the end of B&W too.
Some days I just hate being a Type A

I'm just completely overwhelmed!
I absolutely *HAVE* to say that I am so proud to be here with you guys.....you've been amazing through this.
I just hope that y'all know this was definitely something of a fluke, though, too.
I've been getting better, but this was really some grace, too.
I really want to put in a plug for my mentor, cutlassdude70, who has been absolutely unbelieveable in his support, teaching, knowledge, and techniques.
He has helped me to actually understand what I'm doing and has been able to tie together the basic relationships of aperture, shutter speed, and how to actually use my camera on the manual settings.
AND....he was the one that told me about that spiffy little exposure scale/meter thingie in the viewfinder that enables me to actually adjust the aperture and shutter speed together, understand how and why, and know how to take a picture.
You guys have *NO* idea how bad I was before he transformed this dork into someone who is now a little capable.
He is my hero!!!!

So.......a truly poor showing on my B&W entry can drag my average down enough to restore my suckage quotient, right?
6.7500 + 4.4258 = 5.5879 average.
I actually thought that from a technical aspect, my B&W entry was a better shot than my Procrastintion entry.
I do think it is a contender for an OOBIE.
