Does anyone know where it's at? I've looked all around my apartment and my car, and I can't seem to find it. DAMN!

Let's see, the last time I remember using it was during the mini-challenge with my girlfriend, and that was on dec 29.
I wonder where I haven't looked yet. bathroom, closet, fridge,behind couch, under bed, on couch/chairs. Where's the last place to look?

as I sit here typing, "My Sweet Sixteen" is on MTV. Holy shit, these girls are really stuck up and bitchy.

Must survey every horizontal surface. And I do mean every. So shelves, tables, under shelves, under tables, top of bookshelves, piles o' stuff, freezer, fridge, pantry, particularly flat shoes....

No, I did a mini-challenge with my girlfriend (it's in the member talking area).
It's not in my bed. damn.
See, we have a ghostie that moves/takes things. Sometimes we get stuff back, sometimes we don't. sometimes it's in the strangest places.

All my stuff was in my camera bag (camera, batteries, memory card) so it's all gone.
My girlfriend doesn't have it' as much as I wish she did.
I shot it last at the junkyard, then I uploaded the pics to my computer.

I'm sorry, but I have to commit a minor hijack to ask why  Strikeslip has the girl icon now...did I miss something?
Back on topic, that's a real bummer man. Were you serious about the ghostie part? Because if so, I've heard several times that asking the ghostie out loud to please return the missing item can work. Or if that was just a figure of speech, I'm offering nutter advice now ;-)
Sometimes amid all the frantic searching, it helps to walk away from it for a while and come back later with a fresh mind. I find a lot of my stuff that way. But I know that if it were my camera missing, I probably wouldn't be able to do that either...

Yes, I was serious about the ghostie. Happens all the time.
I did leave earlier -- had to go to the dump; but I haven't found it yet. I'm going to have my girlfriend help me look later when she gets off work. |
