I'm looking for a few ideas on how to improve this first picture. I've played with a few things myself, and don't really come up with anything that strikes me as presentable.
This is the unedited:
Or if you have ideas on a good angle with this is the pole that prevented me from getting the angle I wanted:

Erm get your camera almost on the ground with a mini tripod or camera stand against the left of the post on a bright day and set your f stop at like 22 (for DOF) and take whatever movement blur you get from oncoming traffic? |

The pole can be cloned out. I turned it into BW using the Channel Mixer, burned the sky a little and then converted into duotone (Black,PANTONE 478 CVC). It looks good. Sorry can't post an example..
Edit : I edited the first one.

ignite ... did you miss that the pic of the offending post was 180 degrees backwards from the angle he wanted to get the chalk drawing and oncoming traffic together in? ... as least I THINK that is what he wanted. |

What if someone walking by pushes me and I impale myself on the pole?! |

Yes, I want the shot going down the path and the chalk drawing facing so it can be seen upright. The pole shot was just an example of what my obstacle was. |

Oops, yeah my bad. I was just concentrating on making the 'photo' better overall hehe.. I think there might be a little space on the left of the pole where you can get low and squeeze the camera in.

Then we'll either admire your passion for photography or laugh at your stupidity and use you as a cautionary tale. (in)Fame(y) either way! |
