Come on guys. 5 threads on the same topic, and one desperately trying to avoid the topic (weather), is a little excessive, don't you think?
Just put it to the vote, and leave it at that... or maybe we should have a vote on wether or not it should be even put to the vote.
Let's just get back to taking and submitting pictures. That's what it's all about, isn't it?
Just my 2 cents ( and please don't respond to this, or that will make it 6).

Yeap everyone ignored my orginal suggestion to create two threads one for those who were in favor of it and one for those who were against it and not to fight about it...lol I was ignored everyone was enjoying the fight to well to pay any attention to my silly suggestion I think... |

With all this debating going on, nobody is voting or commenting on pictures. I think I've gotten 1 or 2 new votes on my pic since this morning.

LOL I know but at least then no one is fighting =o) and site council would end up with two seperate lists of of pros and cons... |

I think, for the most part (but with a couple exceptions), people aren't fighting. I think the biggest problem is with multiple threads going on the same topic, things are getting rehashed unnecessarily. We really need to get it combined down into one thread, but when John tried to do that, he got his head handed to him.

Excuse me but this historical revisionism of the worst kind. There was ONE thread when John locked it and started a SECOND thread for no reason whatsoever. When I complained that he had arbitrarily locked the first topic, he unlocked it and thus was started the spawning of multiple threads. Let's praise John for what he's good at, not this!

Some people want to open the challenges to more editing.
Some want to allow all editing.
Some want to keep it the way it is.
Most people don't want "digital art."
Some people are speaking on behalf of the poor, starving children in Africa who cannot afford fancy editing software.
That's about it. |
