I'm having merlot-marinated steak with a mushroom and asparagus risotto. I guess I'm doomed.

I've agreed to go to the neighbors' house in an hour to have ONE bite of each; I'm sooooooooooooooo not into greens & beans!!! lol

I've just spent the afternoon at my father-in-laws doing the same thing. I've lived here about 6 years now and I still have yet to acquire the taste of turnip greens & black-eyed peas.
But I'll be damned if I'm the reason we end up having bad luck this year! :-)
