According to the weather stations, we're supposed to get between 12-24" in the next 24-48 hours. All this on top of the 33" we got last week that hasn't melted yet. Here's a couple of shots...and its only been snowing for about 5 hours. I'll get more when/if it stops.

Man, y'all are getting all the snow, and all we get is rain. I was working outside today in a light sweater, and it was 43 degrees. The grass is green, and there's barely any frost in the ground. warm temps predicted through New Years Day.

We would gladly take a foot of it off your hands. Send it on over here. Our sleds and snowsuits are ready to go!

A little dusting in Tokyo :P

They sent us home early from the bank again today and the odds on opening tomorrow are looking grim. But I was smart enough to conduct my pre-blizzard grocery raid yesterday afternoon and tonight have some good hot comfort food, chicken and dumplings, simmering in the crockpot, so hopefully this next stretch isn't too terrible.

Stop bragging. I love every minute of it.

Oh, you have no idea. It was gorgeous this morning. Cloudy, but relatively warm....maybe 35 or so with no wind.

Yeah, what Cindi said... and what is that white stuff all over the ground in those pics?

I wish it were snowing here. I'm taking advantage of the 3 days it's not going to rain in the next 5 months to stain a shelving unit I'm building, heh.

This may sound awful self-centered, but I am glad that other parts of the country are getting a taste of what winter can be out here.

We are going through the mildest winter that I have ever seen.

We're catching enough of a break on the west side this morning that my bank actually opened and I am at work. Our computer system went down a few minutes ago, though, and no one is coming in at all even though we've been swamped with calls asking if we're open. It's supposed to pick up again later, so who knows if we'll be open all day.

Just got home from work. We did deliveries to businesses, but not residential (streets are still the shits). To be honest, it really isn't THAT bad out. I heard eastern CO and western KS are getting hit hard. They didn't let those couriers leave the station.
