These are my 'reflections'
out-takes. I personally like the first one the most, but I had to fake
the background a bit due to rotations. The two Clasp pictures are
obviously not 'DPC-legal' but I was exploring the idea of how hands come
together and the implications.

I like the "disarrayed" or maybe stop-motion look of I and II, but I think II emphasizes the mirror effect more by being horizontal.

This was my original submission until I went another direction (down)...

These are very nice photos. I think I like "I" best, because it is like the hands are reaching out.

My outtakes are here but they're not really very good.

Yup, that was the main reason why I went for 'II' as the challenge entry
but I prefer 'I' as a shot as it has a more dynamic feel.

You probably already realised this, but they are both the exact same
original photo with different processing

I prefer the first one as well. for some reason in the one you posted, I always see a mouth trying to eating me .. do not know if it's good or bad, but it makes me think of that BEFORE thinking about a reflection.

Here are my "reflections outtakes"
I shot a real lot for that challenge and this is a small sampling.
Comments always appreciated. Thanks :-)

I like a couple of those ones a lot : DCP_0297.jpg and BottleReflections0801.jpg in
particular. I think I'd like the first one more with a less busy or
more blurred background.

Konodor I like "Corner" best because it's closer and I like the way the reflection is broken up.
Gordon the one you submitted was terrific! I like that one best.

My Lone Outtake.

I took this about 5 minutes before the challenge ended and came _THIS CLOSE_ to submitting, but then went with my gut reaction and decided to take a week off. Which has since turned into two weeks off.

Comments welcome. I was hoping to get better colors and a sharper reflection, but this is all I could muster out of my camera at 11:55pm.

Hey ya know that really isn't a bad picture. What I like about it is the warm hues making it almost metalic. I would have given it a 6 or 7.
