| I bought myself my only present Sat. afternoon. I would not pay outrageous 'eBay' prices for a PS3, so figured I would wait till after the first of the year. However, Sat I was going into CompUSA to pick up a NIC card, and wouldn't you know it, they just got a shipment of 40 PS3s. So, being in the Christmas spirit, I got myself one! Never did get that NIC card though..... |

I got a nice surprise when I returned to my parents' house for Christmas. They told me that their dog had learned a new trick and started tapping a wand with a feather on it on the floor. Well, the dog didn't do anything with it but all of a sudden a little fur ball darted across the floor and attacked the feather.
  
Now I have a roommate, his name is Hobbes (from the comic strip Calvin & Hobbes). Best present I've ever gotten

Hello all.....
First ever post here, so be nice, but For christmas, my wife & I were dragged kicking & screaming into the digital SLR world....Santa left a A100 (OK, stop sniggering at the back....it takes all my lovely Minolta Dynax/Maxxum gear that has been gathering dust, that I cant afford to replace)
Now, I just gotta sort out this photoshop thingy....(as was stated above somewhere else)

That's what I said, so I just picked up a second-hand Maxxum 7D. Keeps my 5000i company.
Welcome to DPC...film shooters always seem to be eventually forced into digital, whether they like it or now. Enjoy your Alpha :)

I got an Atari Flashback2 system. Not a PS3 or a Wii, but I finally own the system that I always wanetd as a kid. I had to be firends with the kids I never really liked just so I could play River Raid or Pitfall. Now its mine - ALL MINE!!!

My wife bought me a remote shutter release, and an external hard drive.
I got myself a 30D. Selling my 10D on ebay.
Can't wait to get the new camera!

Lets see,
My mom got me a bunch of needed clothes (getting a little bigger around the waist)
and
The best razor on the market. (Remington Titanium with the self cleanser technology.) ((Well, I say its the best razor on the market.. :) ))
And I bought myself a Canon 20D :) hehe waiting impatiently for it to arrive in a couple of days (hopefully) AND I hope to sell my current rig to pay for it!!!

I started shopping early for Christmas, on Black Friday I bought myself a brand new Fujifilm Finepix S9100, a Flash Booster, an external flash unit, and two days ago I received some accessories for it.
I've been fiddling with these toys and learning a lot along the way!!! All I can say is: I'm happy!! :-D

I got myself a Tokina 12-24, and am desperatly waiting for it to arrive! Sometime next week.
My folks got me an iPod, along with the usual socks and underwear :-p
My grandparents always get us all some scratch-off lotto tickets, and the running promise is that when one of us wins big, we're all going to Tahiti on vacation. Well guess what!? I just finished scratching mine, and tomorrow...I'm headed down to the corner market for a gallon of milk. Woohoo, big winner here ;-)

My husband gave me a lovely white coat that I had been lusting after, a chocolate fountain, a Lensbaby 3G, and an iTrip. I also got various DVDs, CDs, a book, a handmade bracelet and an iTunes gift card from his parents and brother. I'm pleased :)

My mom sent me a wheel of really excellent Swiss Cheese. Good stuff! Plus of course I got this rockin' new computer courtesy of  Mystopia. That's about it for me...
