First colour - I haven't processed it much other than a slight desat to the reds.


Second - the B&W, with some boosted contrast and sharpening.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful child. I prefer the black and white, it lends more of a soft feel to the image which works better with the soft focus. But then I tend to prefer portraits in black and white. Have you tried it with a subtle sepia tone?

Haven't tried sepia, because - well, because I'm a sucker for a decent B&W shot myself.

Definitely B&W. I might suggest you warm it a bit via a Hue/Sat layer in colorize mode or do a warm grey Duotone.
