Yeah, GREAT job! That photo is so cool...I remember I only looked at like 6 of the sky entries and didn't vote...I know, I'm lame...and yours was one of them... and it blew me away!

Oh, P.S. I'm copying yours and Timythetoo (or whatever his name is) entry for sky and trying some of that crazy globe stuff :) Yeah, I'm sure it is easily overdone, but I think the people who live in Butte would love one of the city...and maybe I can even sell a few....:)

It's slowly climbing the latter....woohoow! At first I was praying for a 6, then for a 6.1...and now it's possible for a 6.2!!! Woohoow!

Now that my ego's up it will probably drop...gr....

And I'm about to shoot my occupation...yes, it's 1 a.m. here in Butte, America, and I probably won't go to sleep till 3 or so...so yall will be waking up when I go to bed :)

I think you should change your identity to "onFire". =) And you are lucky your lens is in - I won't get my 4gb CF card for Christmas due to the weather.

I'm going on Christmas vacation starting today. Hopefully it'll give me a little extra time to get some shots in for this week.

PS: I got the lens but i won a camera in a photo contest and will receive a camera which I can sell to make up for this lens - now it's a matter of telling / hiding the evidence ...

I'm not going to be able to post anything for "Occupation" I'm afraid - I've been working all week, and have been busy christmas shopping when I havent been working and haven't had time to do anything.

I haven't been able to come up with a decent idea anyway...

But, I know what I'm going to do for "Pattern" and I'll shoot that Monday or Tuesday.

My "Brown" is doing OK: 6.1307

And hey everyone, don't forget that if we make it to the next playoff round (I'm sure we will) the next round is going to be BIG matchup.....the other two teams we might be playing have very high averages...

so some extra effort can make all the difference! (me trying to be motivational...hehe)

Merry Christmas to you as well! And everyone else...Actually, it's Christmas Eve here right now...I've still got a while till Christmas :)

You know what one of the BEST things about Christmas is? The FOOD!

The cheese and sausage on crackers...the christmas bread...the candy...all of the cookies...

My mom's a teacher and my dad's a pastor, and people always give them sooooooooo much food....and I get to enjoy the perks :)

Let me add my best wishes to everyone for a truly Happy Christmas, and that goes for all our Australian friends who are already having their special day.

I spent today driving down to Central California via Big Sur with some rather wonderful coastal weather. And now, I'm looking at images through the lens of a laptop and am thankful that I don't have to vote on them using this.

My "Brown" is going to be my contribution - it's at 6.1860 at the moment...
