Would love some input on these photos.
I took 444 photos at my sons first basketball game tonight.
Here are a couple I picked out to post. I would love to hear some input and most of all some advice on what to do about the light reflections off the floor.

Thank for taking the time to look..

Shoot from a lower angle. Go sit on the baseline and then the floor reflections aren't part of your shots. You have to watch out for the overhead lights when you do that though.

Agreed, this will also help to get you some more shots where the players really fill the frame with that 50mm lens.

Sounds great, going to try sitting on the side line next time.
I did some shots from the side line (top photo) but I was standing.

It would also be great to have some kind of smaller zoom lens.
The 50mm does not reach to the other side and when standing near the basket and the players come running up right in front of me the 50mm does not seem wide enough.

THIS COLLECTION has quite a few of my recent basketball photos. Most of these are with my 50mm f/1.4 lens shot from the baseline of the court. I don't shoot AT f/1.4 with this lens at basketball games though... I shoot at f/2.0 with a shutter between 1/320" and 1/500" depending on the available light...
