Be sure to check out Dave Barry's Desperation Gift Guide in the Washington Post.

I'm torn between the Electronic Message Brassiere or the Marie Antoniette Action Figure.

I've been enjoying the Gift Guide for years now. Gotta' love the pics! I would love to be the photog down at the Miami Herald who got to shoot them all - nothing like goofy coworkers modeling/using useless gifts!

That is so funny. I'm pretty sure I NEED the electronic ice cream cone thingie, don't know how I've lived without it!

Thanks for posting.

Dave Barry is absolutely my official hero. I have EVERY book of his, and that's literally the only thing I read outside of a couple photo magazines. The highlight of my life was when they used one of my pictures in one of his books!

I just wish you could upload a different picture per sheet ;) We could make 'blue ribbon' paper then

It's not exactly the most impressive thing in the world... it's a straight-on shot of Punxsutawney Phil (the groundhog), used twice on a page of "Dave Barry's Money Secrets." I was more excited to see my name in the photo credits than anything :)

Stop -- you are making me nostalgic for something stupid but simpler like the Pet Rock.
