I'm curious how people feel about self-portraits in non-SP challenges. Just curious.

Doesn't bother me (as long as there's cheese involved ;) Kidding, no problem here, wish I had the nerve.

Personally - I hate em! The people that do them are narcisistic, egotistic fools that deserve instant dqs the first night of the challenge. I mean - find a real model you slacker! You wouldnt catch me doing anything so silly!

Where else are you going to find a model as willing and available?

Ha....the model I use for SPs isn't quite so willing.

Considering time restraints, it's more often than not just a lot more convenient to do an SP.

I actually have a few SPs as microstock too and they sell rather well.

Sigh. . .yeah. . .self-portraits like the above make it kind of intimidating for the more ordinary and camera shy :)

I can only assume you're talking about someone else. ;-)

Honest answer from me:

I don't mind if it is once in a while but when most challenge entries are SP from the same people over and over, I get very tired of it.
