BTW, there are more than two.

Well, sure there are, but there are two that are absolutely his most famous, that have moons in the title and the image both. Go ahead and name 'em so I can go to bed, OK?

So gimme all three and I'll tell you if you're reading my mind; it was a dumb question anyway, I am tired. I been getting this new machine up to speed for hours now.

New computers are a pain so I won't hold you up.

"Moon and Half Dome" "Joshua Tree and Moon" "Autumn Moon, The High Sierra Form Glacier Point"

The first one for sure. The other iconic image is "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico".

Good night all :-)

Hint: Think Zeiss

OK, What year was the first photograph of a human being made and who took it? (Hint: the person in the photo is NOT the main subject.) Bonus points for a link to the image.

Yup (though I'm sure there could be a fight over what is considered the first process to actually be photography ;) but Niépce' first photo from 1826 is on display, here in Austin. and online, as GE said

I doubt it would have scored well at DPC

The paint color was chosen as white does not absorb heat that might impair the precise glass instruments located inside the lens.

Yes
The fluorite lens elements used for Canon L lenses are prone to distortion when overheated... thus the lenses are painted white to minimise the risk.
