 Bmartuch thanks for the comment on my dirt photo. I got killed by the voters for not having any actual dirt in it. Thanks for suggestion of sepia or b&w - might give it a try and see how it looks! |

I was just peeking at your last few challenge entries and I noticed that you have a real eye for composition. That is the most important thing, bar none, for a photograph. And the one thing that can't be taught, unless you have a gift for it.

Once again many of my favorite shots turned out to be by our own Team Suck members. Way to go.
And thank you for your post-challenge comments. Those are usually the most helpful of all. |

Thank you!! I still want to work up the other shot, see if anyone besides me thinks it's a better composition. And now that I actually have a paid copy of Photomatix, I may try a tone mapped version for fun. Makes for nice postcards.
And lo and behold, I'm in brown. I just couldn't fathom not having somthing to look at on my homepage besides my membership renewal notice. Which I need to take care of one of these days. |

dear all, I am back! it feels like I've been sick for two weeks:)
but now I'm back with "occupation" and everyhting that will come on tuesday! I can't wait

I've been voting in pets and gave almost everyone 10...oh well, I feel pretty silly but I just can't resist a cat or a dog or anything cute.

I just entered a picture in brown, so that's sort of taken care of if, as I suspect will be the case, I don't manage to get the Pink Floyd shot I want.

| My For Sale is still sucking along on 5, and my Sticky has me walking the 5.9/6 tightrope aaarrrggghhhh it gets to 6 and I think I might actually beat the 6 barrier this time and then with the next update I'm back to a 5. |

| Occupation is going to be a hard challenge for me since I am retired, and don't do anything most of the time. Wait that didn't come out right. I do lots of things, but not one specific activity. Volunteer some days, exercise part of each day, cook and clean house sometimes, hang out at the swimming pool sometime, go to the beach sometime, go to the wildlife sanctuaries sometimes. I'm basically on an endless summer vacation. Well, I'll just take lots of shots this week and see if anything appeals to me. |

Be sure and check the previous occupation challenge. There were some active "summer" vacationers in that challenge.
My occupation is so boring - I'm thinking of having a symbolic photograph - I see a DNMC coming.

| My occupation shot would be absolutely thrilling. It could be a shot of me typing RPG or COBOL code. Wow, just doesn't get any better than that does it. Needless to say, I won't be entering that challenge. |

Well, I'm in Pink Floyd. And quite happy with my shot for a change! I hope the submission's stay fairly low. My pet shot is still sucking at 4.5.
