I noticed I'm currently working on a streak of 11 straight entries with a favorite. My personal best is 13 straight. I looked up Kiwiness and he once had a streak of 22 straight, which I'm guessing might be the record. While mine seens pretty close to Kiwiness his total favs during that stretch obviously blows mine out of the water as many of mine just have one or two favs per entry.
Anyway, is anyone else working on a streak of their own? If you get a fav on an entry do you value that more than an image that scored higher but without any favs? Just curious and I'm bored. :P |

I am shooting for ten 6+ entries in a row. Right now I have 8 counting the three images up for vote with 11 of my last 12 being 6+. I have bad feeling that sticky will mess it all up on me though.
Edit to add my longest fav streak is 6 in a row.

Interesting thing to look at. My longest streaks are 9 in a row. I have 3 of them. Favorites are far more important to me than anything else as I tend to submit photos that I know won't score particularly well.
Another interesting statistic is the number of challenge entries that have been selected as a favorite and what percentage of your total that is.
Seems I have 115 chosen as a favorite out of 215 total entries which means that about 53.5% of my entries have been selected as a favorite and also that I have entered way too many challenges. :)

Hadn´t thought about this statistic yet, but it´s 14 with me and quite recently too.
Am proudest of my 24 6+ scores in a row, from the "80´s" challenge to "Straight from the camera", would have been 33 in a row if that flowers entry hadn´t screwed that up for me :) |

A big 2...I hope to make it to 3 and then blow it...
am proud I recently succeeded with this goal:
My goal is to enter a shot which I like, feel that it fits the challenge, and get a sub-five score. I am pretty sure I will succeed here...
did it with the Diagonal challenge...it got faved... |

Interesting! I just had a look at my "streaks".
7 in a row with a score over 6
6 in a row with favourites
13 in a row with 10 or more comments

Yeah, but most of those were only favorited by Michael Foos. Take out hubby and her longest streak was about 7. :-/
My longest was 27, in the middle of a 48 for 50 run. |

I'm only at 3. My entries are very inconsistent.
Who has the most favs on one image? kiwiness?
I have 51, 31 and 29 on another which pales by comparison.

I love streaking...
My streak of 9 challenges in a row WITHOUT a favorite isn't really that awesome.
But, at one point in my illustrious career here at DPC, I had TWO CONSECTUTIVE entries that got fav'd!!!!!
I am beginning to think that people are so fascinated and 'wow-ed' by my images that they pass out before they are able hit the Make it a Favorite link. Then the selective amnesia that comes with the Passing Out, they forget to go back to the image when they come to. That's probably what happens. |

For awhile I had an image that scored a 6.9 and had no favs, but I was still really proud of it as it was nearly straight from the camera, no crop and is still in my top 5.
