just wondering..since im a Noobie.
when everone else started out...WERE THEY THIS EXITED?
omg..i love this site. but im pretty darn impatient
in the death subject i must have checked my computer every 5 seconds
and when i got 6th i nearly distroyed my room in a fit of happiness. ^_^
now im in the Pink Floyd comp...3 days to go before voting.
i wonder if ill go insane..?? |

Julia, be careful, if you have an addictive personality, you will get addicted, especially to:
The update button
The frustration of good images that don't do well and bad images that do extremely well...you'll probably never figure out the logic of the voters
and all of the stats
it's like a drug...you've been warned Julia :-)

She hasnt made the jump to update button - yet. You know that Langdon could bring in more members if when you became a registered user you got the chance to use the members only update button during your first challenge for free. That would just be cruel.

I just entered for the first time for 'Brown'
I can't wait to see how it'll do.

I think it's because of your enthousiasm :-D
I can't become a paying member unfortunately. Don't have no credit card (too tempting & very high interest)and a normal banktransfer to America will also cost a lot (they charge here for that :-( )
But nevertheless love DPC so...I'll just show my photo's another way :-)

Sure.... the update button will drive you insane.... but when it does you can do a self portrait for the Pink Floyd Challenge :-)

Julia, Welcome and congrats on the top 10 finish Nice photo.
For me the excitement level depends on what sort of score I have for the challenges I am in. Usually anything above a 5 keeps me happy anything below a 4.5 I start losing interest in the update button.
Currently I am in 3 challenges 1 im scoring my average one is well below that and the other may be a new personal best for me.
The past couple of days I have been buggin out on the update button.
