I don't have a pet....no dog, no cat, no fish, nothing. Not even a pet rock! LOL Am I the only one? Looking at the pet portrait challenge, there are at least 317 people who do have pets, or someone has borrowed a pet.

No pet here either. ;-) I keep thinking I should get one, but then I remember that evil cat from my past. ;-)

No pet here either.... Probably will skip this one altogether. Voting as well.

I am willing to mail my cat to anyone who wants her. ;)

Take a microscope to your mattress and you'll find out how many pets you have. Big happy family.

dibs!!!

I've been trying to befriend my recently acquired barn cat, unfortunately it's still a wee bit on the skittish side :(

To be sure she gets there on time, I'll attach the stamps with super glue. :D

*anxiously awaits the doorbell to chime*

Don't worry Karen, I'll next-hour Onyx to you when I'm done shooting her :)

I spent about an hour down by the river, picking out a rock, for this challenge...

I borrowed a neighbor's pet for a while sunday. A 175 pound english mastiff named Max. Had a ball shooting him, but never really got the shot I wanted. He ate 2 hawaiian leis, a dish towel and a santa hat - oh and 1/2 box of dog treats. He also drooled all over the paper backdrop and floor.
The outtakes were nice enough to make his family a holiday card that they ordered the moment they saw, so it was worth it. :)

When I moved my kitty flew WestJet. She had her own travel agent and everything.

I could practically do an autobiography using my cats as timelines.

First there was Tommy (Tomasina-that-was), and then there were brothers, Archie & Taffy, and then joining the group came Kim, a 10-year-old Siamese when he came west, and finally there was Sam. Captured here in a detail of a painting (my scanner just isn't big enough to get him in all his glory) . But Sam became ill and I gave him the only gift I could.

No more pets. I think. But who knows, there might come a day when a nice old cat comes along...

I don't have a pet either. But one of these days I'm getting a dog, I'd really like to have a dog.
