I think jewelery would be a good subject for a challenge. I haven't seen it used for a challenge since I joined. Comments welcome.

I think this would be a great challenge. I love the idea, plus I got the perfect subject!!

I think this could be a perfect example of what was discussed in the "VERY specific challenge" thread. Then again, I see a lot of dogs with collars, shots of roses entitled "Nature's jewellery", babies wearing mom's jewellery etc, etc, etc.

Don't get me wrong though, I do think it is a good idea, something to get the creative juices flowing.

Unless the challenge title be changed to "a shining metal worn by humans that glitters" then we might be able to narrow it down a bit LOL

Hey give it a break, I was just being sarcastic here you guys :)

Ah, but jewellery may not necessarily be made of metal - pearls, amber, coral, gemstones, etc :)

Edit: Well, the dictionary disagrees with me, so I'll just keep quiet :)

Only took 12 days to get a response. Not bad :) If you want to be specific, jewelery worn by humans . I don't think anyone here needs to be told what qualifies as jewelery. If it is considered as a "specific" challenge, then those who loosely/abstactly interpret "jewelery" most likely will not score well. I guess in that sense it would be their loss, as in any challenge where someone "misses the point" or doesn't care for the challenge guidelines.

I can imaging the wide selection and location of piercings we'll see in the DQ list

Don't feel bad. I get ignored all the time. Not that I'm saying people were ignoring you, but I've noticed that posts by the "not so well known" crowd are often not answered. I've considered requesting the admins to change my user ID to something like Konmandor, or Imsetzler, or GeneralME, to fool people into talking to me, but I guessed they would soon discover my deception and really start ignoring me.
