So that's you going to visit Santa? ;)
The best way to show pics is to:
1) Go to the page and look at the number at the end of the URL. Copy that. For example, in
//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=435914
Copy "435914."
2) In your thread post, click the second-to-last icon that looks like a small square in front of a larger one. That'll open a box asking for the picture ID. Paste in the ID.
Or, just type:
[thumb]XXXXX[/thumb]
and put the number in there.
For example:

okay now i'm jazzed.
my death shot is now the most commented on shot i've taken, admittably most of those comments have been "try getting it in focus next time cuzzo!". but the most recent comment is a very cool one from a team suck member who can't have known it was mine.
god i love this team.
if only "the man" would leave us alone.

I'm happy with that score. My Life picture isn't my normal type of shot. I went super cute this time. All of the comments have been pretty good except some of them mention focus which is definitely a problem. It was one of those spontaneous pictures and the focus wasn't as good as it should be. But most comments say it is cute!
So take that!!!! CUTE! |

LOL!!! I so love this team! I seriously doubt any of the other teams have near this much fun. Chris, you're a hoot! And as an ohbytheway, I was playing with your free study entry, which I really like. If it bothers you that I messed with it, just say so and I'll promptly delete it. I did curves, a bit more sharpening, slight shift in hue to add more red, then a bit more saturation, then a bit of diffuse glow (I keep typing diffuse blow... let's not go there). What do you think? Yours is much more realistic, more peaceful.

i have chosen this as my profile shot. it was taken by greatandsmall when we had a florida GTG last year. of course, only three people showed and two of them we're me and my fiance'. best time i had in the whole miserable year i spent in florida.
if you should find yourself in florida and looking for someone to shoot with, look up greatandsmall. aside from being an awesome person to hang out with, she's great help if you need rescueing from the storm of the century. |

I agree with you Deb. This is such a great group of people. This group makes sucking a lot of fun. Oh and like I said earlier in the thread, I think that post processing other peoples shots is a great way to learn more about it. One of my Team D50 team members did that with my last free study and I think it turned out pretty cool. |

I think the light in Chris' original is much better than in the rework. And I'm working on my laptop which is REALLY good at the high end, so while I can still see detail in the light bits, I'm betting I wouldn't be able to on my home monitor, which I miss dearly and hope to be reunited with in a little over a week.... |

I find it easier to "go too far" editing other people's stuff than my own. I think that's because I know how mine looks when I open it and I just can't get myself to take it to a DPC level, if you know what I mean. But more on that next week after challenges close...
