Just to confirm...DNMC = Does Not Meet Challenge? Does Nancy Moon Cows?
Denver Nuggets Might Chortle?

I see fotomann got dinged by nasty voters but DNMC? Hmm...I disagree.
Does that mean his DNMC is actually a DNMC for this thread? ..in which case it actually is a DNMC... ooooh my head hurts.

This was in the Reflections with Out Mirrors III.

There is no mirror. If you look at the logo on the shoe, it is obvious. Of course, it isn't a true reflection either. . .

Perspective IV, not bad for dnmc.

For the Zen challenge a while back... got a few DNMC comments, and even a DNMC haiku from posthumous. :P Too bad, I was really looking forward to that challenge but kind of buggered it up.

i thought it was black and white in color challenge not just black and white, i should have submitted it in the portrait challenge.

I dunno, but I think people thought I missed the challenge topic, but in fact, I took it very literally...

maybe people just didn't get it.

...maybe people just didn't like it. Hmmm. Nah.

Here's my DNMC that I never understood. People felt that in a complementary colors challenge, you should only have two complementary colors in the photo. That's pretty limiting!

Not sure why, but it was apparently not a fav. LOL

I felt you should only have two colors and that they should be complimentary.

Thanks, I'm beginning to understand...

I entered this in "Adulthood without Adults" and it did really poorly due to, I guess, DNMC. People seemed to think the image was pretty good.

Here's another one. This one was in "Negative Image" but one commenter said it wasn't negative. Actually it is a negative image which contains a negative of itself. The subject is the light diffuser over the light in our kitchen which made a kind of orange image.

I've never entered an image that did not meet the challenge topic and/or description, although I've been hung for it countless times.

my entry for the "death" challenge didn't fare too well.

too abstract i guess. i thought it was fairly obvious from the tone of the shot.

ah well!

One of my personal favorites...

Minimalism Challenge. Yeah, Right!

I love the comments. They made my shoehorning-in of this image worth every penny.

Challenge Unrelatedness

The words "Gather exactly two objects that are completely unrelated" killed my interpretation for this challenge.

Wasn't purple enough for some.
Still one of my favorite entries.

My very first entry in a challenge. I didn't read the instructions. Hell, I didn't even KNOW there WERE instructions...ha
I just saw Light on White!

My very first entry on DPC...and it was for the candid challenge...Still not sure how it was DNMC, I mean I didn't plan the shot, hence Candid.
