Week 4 - Final


I gotta love it...I am in 3rd. But how the heck does it work? Want to elaborate for us? Criteria/Variables?

Is this the final score for week 4? Team 20D seem to be missing some scores.

Your point is exactly why the new URL. Every season the WPL goes from WPL1, WPL2, WPL3, and so on. By going to www.wpleagues.com no matter what season we are in you will go directly to the site without having to change URLs in pictures or links.

I noticed you said your running on an isp supplied space. I could offer you a space and it would be a latter discussion. Ive offered free space to programmers and artists in the past and all who accepted still have pages on the server. I don't have the time to assist in full time development so most do their own.

If you feel your running out of space Ill just point a couple of specs on the rack server im using. Its Fedora Core Linux with MySQL 5 and fresh install of PHP. I will have to check as i don't ever use them but i do believe in spite of the linux server it is able to host frontpage extensions. It has full private FTP access and has more available POP/IMAP mail accounts then i think i could ever use.

Space Limitations are about 250,000 files within 150 GB of hard drive sapce. and 1500GB of monthly transfer which we have never even rached a peak of 10% of that. Its connected to dual redundant 150 mbit/s connections.

If you are not familiar with MySQL and PHP i can help but only in my spare time, there are plenty of prewritten scripts and even available forum code to make the site work dynamically.

Ill offer the space up free as usual with no strings attached and you can point your url straight to the space, which leaves it at no cost to me compared to me running the domains for the other sites i offered up for free.

Scott - One of our teammates ( cutlassdude70) isn't showing on the WPL-MVP list. Sean has ribboned in 3 of his last 4 challenges. I would think this would put him near the top, but I'm not seeing his username anywhere on the list?

He is on the list ranked 86th. Yes he has ribboned three times (2 blue and one red) but the MVP take in account other variables such as participation, ranking in other challenges, etc. If you look beyond his ribbons he has entered both challenges only once. His highest score is not in the top 10, he has had some average scores, and his overall average is only .3558 above his beginning average. All these things are taken in account when assigning points.

Ohhh, i see. Listen when you lose your #1 pick for most of the year and never make a single pickup on the waiver wire, and are only one win from 3rd place, that's not bad. The playoffs baby, the playoffs.

Can someone tell me how and when the playoffs start? Do all of the teams need to be in this week? I thought there was an off week inbetween the regular season and the playoffs. How will any team know if they are in the playoffs? Scott any answers out there for us teams?

According to the schedule on the WPL website the first round of playoffs starts with Dirt, For Sale and Pet Portrait so it looks as if no time off between regular season and playoffs. I guess if it looks like you may make it to playoffs you should probably play it safe and enter something.

Since the season was only 5 weeks long the playoffs run consecutively with the season. Dirt, For Sale and Pet Portrait are the challenges in the first round of the playoffs.

I have a question. Will Sky count in WPL3 or do we stick to the ordinary member challenge and the open challenges?

None of the extra challenges are valid in the WPL. The playoff challenges will be the same as the season.
1. Members (advanced)
2. Exclusive Open Challenge
