Would it be too much to ask for a change in the 'default' to have the 'automatically parse URLs' set to ON when composing forum messages? I think that when people post URLs in forum messages, they arre generally intended for other people to go check them out :)

I agree. I hate to have to cut and paste those URL's in there. Much more convenient to simply click.

Usually, once you check that box and post a comment, the box will remain checked for future postings until you uncheck it again. Same should apply to the Forum Signature box.

Same SHOULD, but guess what? I have to click my "Show signature" button all the time. Only stays clicked for like 3 posts, then boom, all of a sudden, not clicked anymore.

For info: Mozilla/Firebird users can download the Text Links extension and never have to worry about unparsed URL's again.
