I was looking at some photos the other day and I wished I had an easy way to view the Exif info within Firefox. I did a simple Goolg search and found Fxif. A plug-in that works great. Here is a link to the site.
Just install it, right click on a image and choose "Properties". If Exif info is available, it will be displayed.

Cool extension, but it seems like either many images uploaded don't contain the exif or the sites strip it.

Photoshop Save For Web strips EXIF data too. To get in under 150Kb with the best quality it makes sense to throw exif away.

I figured DPC did it, but a random check on other sites was the same. If save for web strips the info then it will probably be hard to find the exif on photo sites, which is exactly where I'd want to see it.

So if DPC actually strips the EXIF info is it alright to remove it ourselves with our submission (to keep the file smaller)? In GIMP you can choose to disable it/enable it on the final save.

Yes, that is exactly what most of us do, using the Save For Web feature of photoshop.

DPC only strips exif info for submissions, the portfolio images retain it.
I also found that if I use the MS PowerToys Resize dealo, it strips the exif info. Now I know not to use it.
