How many of you have never had a DQ, not even a self-dq? I haven't, probably because I suck at photoshop and only do the basic stuff anyway. No fear of removing major elements here!
66 challenges entered, no DQ. Who else?

i am at 65 challenges but alas i did self DQ once out of anger but it would not have been DQ'd other wise. i have been validated on just about 10% of my entrys. sadly never because of my placing.

I self DQ'd once, for a reeeealy low score.
If you're careful, know next to nothing about PS when coming in, and pay attention to the DQ controversies, it's not that hard to escape becoming a pink ribbon.
I only had one validation request, and that really did obviously push the limits. (This Yellow Picture Sucks)

edit - my keen observations say somewhere between the 14th and the 21st. :P

| I think I had one request for validation, but it was for me, personally, not for my photo. I highly recommend it though - everyone needs validation now & then. :) |

| 53 challenges plus the ones I am entered in currently. No DQ's one VR for the straight out of the camera challenge. I try not to get crazy with photoshop but I am learning how to push it to the edge. |

| Only 43 challenges, but no DQs SO FAR, and the only validation was on my ribboner. Fingers crossed! |

the new rules state that you can only request validation 7 days after the voting ends |

115 challenges, no ribbons, and no DQ's... just one validation, I think.

| Took 128 Challenges before I had to self-DQ because I stuck a very nice image into the wrong challenge and within a half-hour of the roll-over, decided to self-DQ rather than face all the comments, one by one, that would tell me what I had done wrong. Had a couple of validation requests but those were no hassle at all. |

80 challenges, 1 DQ, 1 Self DQ (I was soooo far out of the box with a bride's image that it would have been devastating for her to see the low scores), 1 image that was DQ'd and then reinstated after 2 days when I was able to show how I had done it legally, and 1 image that brought about a new ruling on RAW image dates, and a couple regular validations for top 5.
The validation for top 5 is great, those which push the limits when you don't have the steps recorded are the pits.

| No DQs but I've only entered 40 challenges (although, at this point, I have a fairly decent understanding of the rules. :) ) I highly doubt I'll ever self DQ. |

319 challenges + 2 on going. I thought I had a DQ in the Chaos Challenge of '04 but I can't find any record of it....so yes and no.
