My favorite challenge ever was the first "free study" fun to look at images without thinking of challenge topics.

I liked the "Breaking New Ground" Challenge because it stimulated the creative juices to try to come up with something that hadn't been attempted before.

No, Actually I have missed quite a few lately. Been kind of busy at my "real job"! General E has entered more than anyone.

Why don't you submit any more? Did you get bored of the topics?

I liked Environmental Portrait the best. Not becuase it's my highest score, but rather I got to show my wife in her realm. Plus there were some incredible images in that challenge. The top 11 places were 7+.

Image Without Subject was just mindblowing. The voting results were terrible but the challenge and the photos were great.

I enjoyed voting in Postcard as well as most any other challenge we've had. That and Tribute were my two favorite to vote in.

To shoot, it was Architecture. I had a blast and learned a whole lot in the process - not necessarily about photography, but about the town I lived in and its architecture.

Having had a second child kinda sucked the time out and changed my priorities/interest I guess. Moved to my home town, bought a new house. blah blah blah. I'll get back into it, no doubt. I used to love the challenges; now I don't even look at the topics. What can you do.

My favorite is still Pencil (Challenge 29). There were some amazingly creative, out-of-the-box and funny entries in that challenge.

Went thru the thumbnail. Was surprised not to see a carpenter pencil between a butt cheeks picture.

That was one of my favourites too. Tons of bitching about it being a 'boring' theme, lots of interesting results.

I really found "straight from the camera" refreshing. Not being able to rely on photoshop to fix defects, crop, etc. really made me be very careful and thoughtful in composing the shot. It really was a "back-to-basics" challenge, like going back to my K1000 and shooting all manual.

National Geographic Challenge was certainly a mindstretcher, as was the Triptych Challenge.

Both were Challenges in the real sense of the word.

I loved the Rubber Ducky one.

It was ever so very restrictive, and you'd think the results would have been boring. But I think that BECAUSE of those strict limitations, everybody got even more creative and came up with some wonderful ideas and pics.

I also liked the fact that we got DQ'ed for ignoring challenge requirements - something I wish would happen much more often.
