I have free study entered and I reckon it deserves a good five +. The Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Napoli shots are a month old now and it doesn't feel right . . .
Sickdog wants a life! Don't ask for mine, you'll be disappointed.

i'm actually quite happy with mine but would be hard pressed to come up with something for the challenge...
but death is a different story. i'm trying to convince my fiance that we need to hit a graveyard this saturday. |

We've got some great cemeteries in Charleston, SC. Old tombs, dripping Spanish moss, that kind've thing. I'm looking forward to this death shoot, though I suspect many people will shoot graveyards. |

i'm thinking that too but we have one particularly beautiful one here in oakland...
maybe with the right motivation and a good shovel, i can come up with a pic so shocking that it's a sure win! |

This shot out to qualify for double bonus, since it is both life AND death. Awesome shot Raish!

Ah, but you did - you cropped with your camera. I'll often offer that comment as well. To me it's both a crop with post or a crop with the camera. Either way it means you filled the frame with your picture nicely! |

I don't know if you realized but you have this right now! And also half your last ten entries are above a 6! Hello Team Suck :) sorry about the little hijack.

Hey Joe, stop in any time! We allow the occasional ribbon winner to visit as long as they're nice guys - you qualify.
And I hadn't looked lately, so I didn't realize I'd achieved my goal. It's a fluctuating thing. Some days are up, some not. :-) Nice of you to notice, though - thanks! |

Ahem! I don't think a 6.1 exactly sucks...
My Free Study is in. I pulled it once for another one, then stuck it right back in there. I don't do Free Study entries for score - it's freakin' impossible to score well in those (my opinion, your mileage may vary) so Free Studies are a chance to just do what you want to do. In the case of these monthly things, to find something that grabbed you for whatever reason and go for it. So I did. And it will indeed bomb as far as score goes. I really don't mind.
My other contenders have been put in my Comments requested folder - you're welcome to take a gander if you wish. I think one of them *may* have been worthy of a 6 score in anything except a Free Study, but I'll never know. |

This is not the norm, I made up for it in postcard. B-10 bomber. What is up with James Bond? I have nothing my mind is Oatmeal. Do you just walk up to someone and ask " Do you have an extra AK -47 I need it for a photo shoot". I don't think I will score well if I use a deer rifle. ARRRRRR

I'm sitting at 5.4ish for both light on white and famous last words.
But the 4 comments on each are very positive. :)
As for famous last words specifically, I just hope it makes people laugh!

Check out the challenge description. The only thing James Bond is the title. You can take any picture as long as it fits the title. I just hope the voters understand that.
I didn't enter the tuesday challenges. My poor 4.6ish l.o.w. is all I have this week. Free Study counts for next week. Speaking of which, I agree with Deb. I always bomb the Free Study. |

Only FS I ever did is 2nd place on my portfo page. I just browsed through the month's pictures and chose the one most likely to. I have no soul. I took masses of far out pictures at the end of October but had no means of posting them here. Boo hoo. This month I gotta cutey. Twin-handled buy-no-peculiar vision technology has me homing hard in on the middle of the tree. But only metaphorically, because there isn't really a tree.

Oh by the way, I am working on a class project this weekend that includes photographs shot at f1.4 with no focus and no subject. If anyone has great examples, let me know. |

I've entered James Bond. I spent a lot of time on this - two days on wild goose chases looking for a couple of things I had seen previously and couldn't find this week. I finally went with another idea, and shot it at home. Now I have to start working on Life or Death ideas.
Current challenges are sucking along:

Got most of what I needed for James Bond, though I expect some fine work might be needed to pull off this shot. Could be tricky. |
