Are we also going to point out the lowest score for the week?

Rob,
Just checked out your 'toothy grin' photo. That is one INCREDIBLE shot. |

Thanks to you too. I really mean that!
BTW, check out this guy's profile Koobers. He's the troll that left the '1' and 'no comment' on my Perspective shot. |
Dont you just LOVE it when people who dont even enter challenges give you sucky scores and comments!
BTW my Famous Last Words shot is sucking nicely:

I think that all suck entrants should have a +3 modifier applied to their scores to account for "artistic differences". It's clear that all the entries are simply misunderstood. |

I guess I like to see the group being supportive of each other and having lighthearted fun doing so.
If someone feels that their photograph did poorly and is not sure why, there is a good group of commenters here that can give honest feedback without hurt feelings. |

Indeed. Or, if required, I can give unhelpful comments with total disregard for feelings :D |

I often give comments that are completely irrelevant and useless in terms of photography, but are well meant - does that count! (Sorry, typing on a French keyboard) |

I should think so.
But I think all comments are good.

That's like going to Oz and saying all witches are good. You're going to get creamed. |

Sadly, this was mostly me being lucky with timing than any photography skill.

Rob, please take some credit where credit is due! It is the composition and creativity, not the fact of fireworks, that make this shot :-) |

A bit of water and they just melt.
I reconsider though. Not all comments are good. Some are. Where they have put some effort in to it. |

Yeah, maybe if I had photographed that instead of my diagonal line I'd be doing alright ;)

I have just submitted a truly Team Suck worthy photograph into Free Study. I must turn off my scores before voting begins on that one because it will not score well at all. I love it. I will, should I ever be reunited with my stuff, print it and hang it.
As for getting a place, I had the little place I found downtown inspected by the representative from the housing office. Interestingly enough, the price went up 250 euros from last week, because I'm American. This is not an uncommon practice. Problem is there's a chance the housing office will not approve it because of the price - it's too high for what the US government calculates as "reasonable". So they may tell me I can't live there. Sigh. I really am tired of living in a hotel.... |

I just noticed something cute on Kelly's klstover profile. When you click on the sucker, her photograph comes up. |

Ha. We have such non-suckers playing it's untrue. With an average like that we are sucking at sucking. Never fear, I fully intend to drag the team down much further this week.
I'm highly confident that, come rollover on Wednesday, I'll have two more photos in the low 4 bracket, perhaps one even lower than PEAS.
Well done Entropians. |
YES YES YES!
I had to work from 4pm yesterday till 1pm today so i just saw the scores for the first time.
I actually don't know I'm happier about... The 6 or the fact that Entropy won. sadly my shot for diagnal truely sucks and has started at a 4.5. last minute shot that i don't want to go anywhere.
but after the help and support i've received from team suck and an obvious improvement in my work as a result, i'm gonna throw down the 25$ and start entering both challenges weekly.
seriously team. thanks for the comments, advice and support.

I probably wont have an entry in this batch. Chances of me doing bond are low (I did have an idea but it would probably be too tricky to implement) and I have zero thoughts for life or death. Hmm. Well maybe a couple of thoughts, but I don't fancy another 4.3 |

shoot it anyways...
my favorite author once said that he writes every day, even if it's just a sentence, because a writer who isn't writing is a bum.
i think that probably also applies to photographers... as my results in diagnal will prove. |

Deb, with your recent scores, I'll have to see that to believe it. I just finished my free study shot, and I hate to admit I have pretty high hopes for it *hope I don't jinx myself*. It is one of my favorites that I've taken, so we'll see... |
