I also loved viewing the recently-completed "Postcard" challenge. I think it may possibly be the highest-scoring challenge ever, at the top end, except for some "Best Of" free studies, and it even beats most of those. But take a look at those scores! Two images over 8.0, top 11 all over 7.0, 98 images 6.0 or higher... WOW!

It was really pleasant to see such interesting studies of the places where we (collectively) live. I felt a real connection here.

I always seem to have the most fun with the self portraits. Not sure why, since it isn't a vanity thing. I guess I'm just the model that my photographer knows how to shoot, it's like we can read each others' minds, haha.

Hands down, my favorite was Illusions. I googled for days then got an idea, then shot for 3 days, each of which meant painting these kids or myself before I got a shot I loved. Still love this one.

I really enjoyed the Take Two challenge. It allowed me to take what I have learned from this site and the constructive comments and suggestions offered by voters and try to improve on a shot previously done. And using all that....I did end up with a better score the second time around. :)

You know what? Every week gets better and better. I'm enjoying it more because each week (heck, every day) I learn something new.

Also, according to my stats, I'm on an upward trend (click on chart below)...

I really enjoyed the "Painting with Light II" challenge, I hadn't gotten around to participating in the first one, and I loved trying to figure out something for the second one.

I loved the Far Side Gary Larson Tribute.

That was really off the wall and quite fun to vote on.

If we're talking about which ones were the most fun to participate in, well then I really enjoyed the week of the Ansel Adams challenge. For personal reasons I wanted to do weel in that, and I spent a lot of time trying to make an image that was really "in the spirit of", and I believe I succeeded. Plus I got to choose the REAL Ansel picture and give it to Langdon for posting in that amusing experiment :-)

Thanks, Rosco.

Beside my high score challenge, I enjoyed the last Self Portrait challenge (V). Although I didn't enter that one, it was great to see all my DPC buddies. I still can't get over Elvi's winning entry. I look at that regularly whenever I need to smile. It really cracks me up! :-)

My favorite challenges have been the ones I've done well in. :P

Seriously, I prefer the ones that allow more creativity (i.e. multiple files, text, etc).

Deja Vu - Hoping that another comes around again real soon as I have my idea ready to go.

Image Grain. I've been begging for another for months now.

Impressionism was fun, mainly for the looks I got shooting while kicking my tripod.

Does it amuse anyone else that several people want to see Deja Vu again ?

I truly enjoyed the Triptych

...not just because I ribboned, but because it allows for a vision, a story, a sequence and true originality.

Look interesting trying to capture a photo of a previous ribbon winner.

I liked the "Breaking New Ground" Challenge because it stimulated the creative juices to try to come up with something that hadn't been attempted before.
