Of course, I don't know which is yours, but your architecture photos are great, so I'm not surprised you're doing well in perspective.

JuliBoc,
I agree that SickDog's architectural photos are a real strong point, so not surprising that perspective is strong.
I on the other hand dropped all the way from a 5.9 to a 4.9! Never had that happen before. LOL. Not too sure my entry exactly meets the challenge, though.

damn...

dropped to 5.86 and got a negative comment...

this is starting to get to be more my speed.

I have 13 comments on my postcard entry now, one more for my most during a challenge, I think.

I love when people comment on the same aspect and one says how they like it and another says that it annoys them. :D

Our Thanksgiving (or I need the collage practice).

LOL Quiet. Love the collage. The cat is an especially nice touch. Well done!

My scores are holding nicely above 6. This will be the best week I've had at DPC. :)

I'm now in light on white, and I'm reasonably sure my days of suckage are on their way back.

I have an idea for famous last words. That is, the words themselves. Shooting it is another question.

Hang in there, sickdog and JuliBoc. Go get those personal bests! :)

By the way, Julianne, I LOVE your profile pic. Looks like you know how to enjoy life!

thanks for the encouragement bro. i'm still holding at 5.9. it's not what i want but it's better than i've ever gotten.

i'm loving that.

i will suck on into the 6 range soon enough.

I can't believe this is holding above a 5. It really sucks! I think it's at least one of the worst images I've ever submitted.

I can never figure voting, Kelli. I stuck one in for perspective - figured it to be a 5.5. It's about my third highest score at the moment. Go figure!

I'm in for both light on white and diagonal with concepts that I invented and probably won't score particularly well. We shall see.
11/26/2006 03:38:52 PM · #1193
My light on white has a strong diagonal composition. That means I get to double my score for competing in just light on white, right? ;)

Diagonal means Gaussian multiplication, I think. Probably easiest to take whatever score you get and move on :)

I is in white thingy and I might even scratch five out of yearofbirth...

Thanks for the complement on the profile pic. I like that photo for the same reason. It's the way I feel most of the time.

I'm not doing badly for a team suck member on the postcard and perspective entries, but there's no personal best in the offing this time. I have entered light on white and diagonal. I have a suspicion I may have misinterpreted "light" in the white challenge. Why was it in quotes in the challenge description?

My real quandary is what to enter in Free Study. I have about 5 shots I am wavering between, I've pulled them and reentered them several times.

i still have nothing for diagnal or last words...

im a little stuck for ideas and it's raining here today.

Probably because what is "light" is fairly subjective.

I originally had something with kind of a strong orange, but went back and changed it to a lighter color.

I have been worrying they might mean light color as in red light bulb or neon or some sort of gel. I wonder if there will be a lot of interpretations of this.

I'm also in Light on White. I really like it. Hopefully it won't suck to bad. If it does worse than my Year you were born then I'll be throughly confused.

And Deb, I sent you an email.
