This is yet another 'welcome' thread... but this time for my 7 year old brother, who in light (shadow) of his two big brothers' efforts has decided to dabble into the world of lenses and never ending credit bills...
Please welcome Simon! frandre |

I don't get it...if he is your 'little' brother and only 7 years old, why/how could he leave a comment such as this?:
"this station was my first introduction to korea and the first time i saw my son in 9 months so it is very emotive to me. i can feel the air and hear the people when i see this. thanks for this shot Dylan"

Yes, he is quite well spoken for a 7-year old.

I just took a peek and I have to agree.
Perhaps there is a reasonable explanation?

maybe the childs mother opened the account and left comments while checking it out before deciding it was suitable for her son and letting him now have the user ID. that's possible. |

this was my mother's account and she signed up using it for him a week ago... she has been using it to let me know what she thinks of my images for a while now... quite biassed as mother's opinion can be... we happen to live in different countries and if you don't mind... at least I tried, man people on this site are trivial sometimes... just welcome a little guy would you. Thanks Crystal.
*edit* sensored rant for another thread *edit*

No offense to the little guy, but it's not a trivial matter. DPC has been the victim of some scams lately, and we don't like being "had".
Hey - Simon - great to have you on board! Hope you have a lot of fun and learn lots.
EDIT - Shalrath, one thing to make sure of is that the COPA agreement has been properly taken care of. If your mother signed up as an adult and did not complete that form, it needs to be taken care of before a child under 13 can be allowed to "own" the account. Check section 2.2 of the TOS for further information.

Me and my big mouth want to know if she signed up a week ago, why is the account dated April 30th with comments made as far back as August?
Guess your other thread was really a PM to me.

@Alienist...
My bad wording... She's had this account for a while and it was changed to a member account for him a week back... aside from that, I'd really like a little trust and respect returned to this thread. |

Dylan, I'm sure everyone would love to welcome your younger brother and would be pleased to have him here but perhaps you should straighten this out with the SC first. It'd be a shame for his first experience with DPC to result in something negative because of confusion with transferred accounts, etc.

to change the user name, go to help>contact and submit a ticket to the SC. :)
If you want to correct the spelling errors, click on the "edit" button and it will open it back up for you and you can correct them. |
