I found an old Regula Picca C 35mm camera in a box of cameras that my step mom gave me. The body has no dings or scratches... It's in pretty good shape, except for that it's dirty.

How do I go about cleaning the camera? And... is it worth anything? I don't know much about old school cameras, so I have no idea of it's value.

Can anyone help me??
Thanks!
Lorrie

Search on eBay and you'll probably find some that have sold recently and that will give you a good idea of it's value.

I came across an old Kodak Six 20 film camera, box and everything, good shape, was a late 1940s camera. Sold it on ebay...$15.

It was like this one.

I was disappointed in it's value. But then, most darkroom equipment is worth even less these days.

picca cb with case recently sold for $5.68.

thanks... I figured it wasn't worth much... but you never know.

How do I go about cleaning this? Can I use alcohol or will that ruin it?

probably be ok - but it has to be a very high (80% or higher) concentration otherwise to much water will be left behind & may rust ..

& don't touch/clean the shutter
