Someone called this the "tops and spots" challenge. Fortunately for me, my black n white is doing well, 'cause, like smurfguy, I'm not really sure I want to leave my spots entry in. I will. Masochist? Never thought I was, but, maybe... We'll see when the scores start rolling in.

I shot some photos for spots and head wear, and submitted for head wear. I literally put it up on the LAST minute...I wasn't sure if it actually uploaded until a few minutes ago when the site was back.

My head wear shot probably won't do so good. technically, it's really not good. Oh well! My BW shot's doing good, so it's all good!

P.S. My head wear shot is at 4.00.... ouch! Hehe. You win some, (well, not actually win...but you know what i mean) you lose some!

I'm in "Headwear" and currently standing at 5.4

Could be better (but could be worse too)

The challenge I'm doing best in right now is HDR - which of course does not count in WPL :(

When the first four voters clocked in with "fours" I realized it is going to be a long week.

So, it looks like we didn't win our first round.

I went through everyone's results and picked the top four. We ended with a 5.760 average, they ended with a 6.5080 average. Two of their members didn't enter any, and the remaining five of them all got above a 6 on their top entries. !!!.

But it looks like we'll do good in this week's competition!

Next time I'm writing "screw you, voters" ona a piece of paper and photographing that. =)

And there's only one other "non winner" ;) team in our league (I think?) that beat us. So our score is right in the middle of everyone.

We'll kick ass this week though!

But wow, did you see team 5D's score this week? 7.2256! Good lord! I think they had a few ribbons.

Yes - quite impressive...

But, Team 5D have a total of 64 ribbons and we have (thx. to stare, giorgio and metatate) a total of 6. Does that make them 10 times as good as us? I think not... :)

(But I wouldn't mind seing some ribbons come our way too)

Tis true, they aren't 6 times better than us, that's for sure. I'm sure some day we'll all ribbon.

Ok...what happened to everybody? I thought this thread should be more animated. Where is the captain? Should we pick somebody else maybe? And those cards, I can make them anytime just let me know.

I agree - we need more forum activity. i haven't heard from Caleb. Perhaps send him a PM regarding the idea of you taking on some of the cards. If so, make sure you use something a tad different than the template just to make them unique (maybe a different tint to the iamge etc.).

It sucks not being able to enter member challenges. Check out my new profile image - I think it would have done ok in B/W - at least better than my freaking "spots" entry! ... Maybe I'm just a narcissist. =)

I should have not entered in spots, given the excellent B/W scores you all have this week.

Ya know, it's really funny. A nice "6" score is usually nice to have. But every time I get a six now it pulls down my score! Dang.

So, Lisa, we have the numbers 4 and 6 in common. Well, right now, at least, that means we are not muddling around in the middle. (I think that last is Pollyanna speak)
