Since I'm doing well (OK, really well) in Spots, I think I'll enter a potential last page Perspective shot. That's about all I'm gonna have this week. Oddly busy! :-)

We [i]may[i/] pull out of our extra sucky slump with b&w, as my score is hovering around 5.9 range. There is still plenty of time for it to tank, however!
I too am entering postcard and really like it - but again, it may suck! |

Good point. I'm still sort of sorting through. I think I just wanted to try the pbase thing out. Napoli, Amalfi and Pompeii are in line for consideration, now that (I think) I've got all the people shots up for those who were on the trip. When I grow up I'm going to be really good at this :) |

Or post both places.
One advantage of pbase is the ability to look at a group of photographs as a slideshow. |

Guten abend. (Not sure if I spelled that right or not.)
Kitties are good. A little peeved at me today, though, since they had to stay in their cages while I was out so housekeeping could come in. I've arranged to only have housekeeping come in every three days so the cats will have two days to get over it. Sir Thomas has been busy knocking stuff down. It makes him happy, apparently.
No pictures today - another very busy day running around doing work-related stuff, like meeting the boss (didn't have near enough time there), getting registered at the housing office (nice enough folks, but I'm not getting a warm fuzzy about the listings they have), and meeting a few of the other folks at work. Got back here to the room, called to see if Dad and his wife made it over (they did) then walked up to the store to buy a pair of shoes and pick up dinner.
Unfortunately, the very little one in the room next to mine is collicky, so I'm also completely exhausted. Pictures tomorrow, though!
And Mary, since The Hoovers suck as far as gathering nominations, can you remind me what it is we need to do? |

Don posted some generic threads for nominations or you could create new ones. After a couple days, have the team vote on the finalist(s). What I have done is PM the other team members and let them know the nominees and ask for votes by PM by a given date-usually before the next round of challenges. |

Those aren't truly sucky scores, you know.
I'm still a bit jet-lagged - and I'll be much happier when I get my license, my truck, a place to live, and my stuff - particularly my bed. In the mean time, I'm happy the cats are good. Tomorrow I plan to go sightseeing in the gray rainy weather. Wonder how folks on this side of the pond keep cameras dry?? |

I think it means the person is saying "sell this as a print and I'll buy it." I've never gotten one, so I'm not 100% sure on that.
As for Don's comments, I consider my B&W III entry a total success. Don's comment means he got what I was shooting at (not the shot, but the style). :)

perhaps it means they wish they had taken the photo themselves.
i had an unproductive day. it was raining this morning when i left so i didn't take the camera... then it cleared up by noon and was the best day san francisco has had in a while.
maybe tomorrow. |

I'm not certain it means they would like to buy it, because they may not have understood the Wish List themselves. But I am certain the Wish List is for DPCPrints, which is where we can post our prints for sale.
