Our youngest daughter had her turn in front of the lens the other day & she was happy with this one - well, the original color version.
Please feel free to critique, as I'd like to make a print for her. (Sorry about the link; I'm at work right now...)

The light on the left cheek and upper shoulder is a little bright but after looking at it for a while it tends to blend some. I'm not a huge fan of the yellow tone but that's just a personal perference thing. I like her pose and expression, it seems to show some personality. Her eyes stand out very well.

Likewise, I'm not crazy about the yellow, expecially against the pink top. I do like the pose and positioning though. Lucky you - you have a daughter who will pose for you! Mine would rather eat worms than sit still long enough to get a nice portrait! |

Hehe - actually I have 3 daughters & the only way I can get them to pose is bribery & a rotating schedule! (I think they hold secret meetings to figure out ways to distract me from photography!)
Thank you both for the comments, and I had wondered about the yellow... what if I removed the top layer & showed her blue eyes, to overcome the antiqued BG? |

do you have a copy like that? It sounds better - especially if there's a pair of big blue eyes coming through! |

Oh, and I've tried bribery - doesn't work anymore. My son is just as bad... |
