this is kind of fun. a google map that shows you where you would end up if you starting digging a hole straight down and ended up on the other side of the planet.

of course, this is kind of disappointing to kids who think they can dig their way to china. ;)

| yeah, this indian ocean business is no fun. if i'm going to brave 23987568235989235482340923492576592 tons of liquid hot magma i'd like to at least end up on a tropical island or something. |

My grandma always said I could dig to China! I'm so let down! In fact, I checked and I'd have to be in the middle of the Atlantic ocean if I wanted to end up in China! :(

| I will come out smack in the middle of the South Pacific! That is digging from Amman in Jordan, if I´m up in Iceland however starting my dig, I will end up/down due south of New Zealand.. |
