I rarely go back and edit an old photo. While looking at some photos on photo.net today, I was insipired to revisit one of my photos taken about 18 months back. I played with colors, cropped, enhanced fog and tried to add a little punch. Let me know how I did and any other suggestions...

The horizon looks straight now! LOL ;) I like the way you brought out the detail in the foreground grasses in your new edit. ONe nitpic is a band of dark orange near the sun that looks a little strange. Overall, a nice improvement. The lady stands out much better now as well.

The bright green grass struck me as distracting at first glance. If it were me I would tone the yellow saturation down by 15-20 in hue/saturation. I like the crop and that you leveled your horizon. The grass in the foreground has a really nice texture that you brought out in your new processing.

Overall I think it's a great improvement.

thanks Michelle. I was trying to bring out some green in this picture. the last one had too much of red/orange. so I enhanced the green with color balance. will try a little lower saturation and see how it looks

Yeah, the orange band is gone and the sky has a softer gradient in that area. looks good!

I'm a fiend for red/orange.

My Favorites.

I even have a geometric patterned couch that's white, black, grey, red, and orange. I got it at a thrift store for 30 bucks. It's awesome. =)

Oh dear. Can I cast a dissenting vote. I like the crop on the second shot best, but overall I liked the colors in the first one better. They were softer and, to me, had more the feeling of a hot, early morning.
