I am starting something new. For every comment I receive in a challenge I will return two in the same challenge. Who's with me?

P.S. Lucky for me nobody is leaving me comments. ;) But once they do I'll be there! :P

Well, we had company over tonight, so it's not quite the showing I was hoping for. Might get a couple more in before I head off to bed. Some really nice shots out there!

I'd rather gnaw my leg off than take one of these challenges. I'm rarely inspired to comment on every thing that comes in front of me.

That's part of the challenge!! :-) At least for me. Sometimes I look at a photo and I'm not particularly inspired by it....but I try to find something good about each photo. There's some merit to everything.

I'll do it. Since I'm currently commenting at a 4:1 ratio, and in this challenge a 42:1 ratio, I could use the rest! hahahaha

I have three comments so far. I'll make sure I leave at least six. :)

Note - I generally comment on at least 20% of a challenge and vote 100%. I'm halfway through commenting 100% of the wind challenge.

Looking forward to more than three comments on my Free Study, so go for it, guys! (To be fair, though, the three I have now pretty much explain the lackluster score.)

I have had the goal numerous times to comment on every photo in a free study challenge but have yet to actually manage completing it! I will vote on all photos and am setting a more reasonable goal to comment on as many as possible!

I am a compleat novice: I brought my first DSLR 2 weeks ago...
What constructive comments could I make:
I have had a comment on a challenge which says no effort to correct an imperfection has been made and while it is true it is not lack effort it is knowledge that I lack;
I would like to comment but it would be personal taste as opposed to constructive. So should I comment.. what do you all think

yes, comment! photographs are not intended only for photographers. If nothing else, say how a picture makes you feel.

I comment a fair bit, and, as you can see from my scores, I am far from what this place sees as expert. I comment on what I see. The person getting the comment can choose to ignore it if they want to.

I'll get a bucket of ice ready to ice down those fingers from that much typing. ;-) I wish you the best of luck and wish I was disciplined enough to comment on that many.

I always vote on 100% of the images. It's either all or none and I haven't missed a vote in the last 10 challenges, so I'm trying to keep that going. Just finished voting on the Free Study today and did the Landscape yesterday. Now it's on to the Portrait.

im just going through them commenting as i go, just started mind you, will be able to do about and hour tonight and alot more tmoz evening. 2% through wooo :P

Also i find it hard to give a score below 5 especially images that i can fin nothign wrong with but dont really speak to me. :/ am i just scoring too high or what?

I'm out.. hard to leave a comment when you dont like anything about the photograph and the only way I'd vote it higher would be a different subject.

My goal is to make it to 311 votes/comments by tonight...that way I'll be halfway finished. I'm on 211 right now so wish me luck!
