All the images displayed were wonderful. love the themes, and the photography.

The closest we've come in DPC is the Triptych Challenge

"A triptych is a work of art which is divided into three sections and then hinged or connected. Create an entry consisting of three panels that tells a story or illustrates a concept or object. Your panels can be made up of one photo or up to three separate photos.
Extra Rules
"You may use up to three photographs for this challenge. However, all other rules still apply."

We never had that Challenge again, which means either it was a ton of work to validate, or nobody thought of it.

But (and I didn't even enter my images) it was a whole bunch of fun to work out the details and play with the theme.

Here's a couple of mine, still learning how to do it but it is fun and addicting. The Amsterdam one I'm going to have printed out poster size, along with "Faces of Amsterdam", "Coffeeshops of Amsterdam" and "Markets of Amsterdam" for a big wall we have.

For people with a decent internet connection, it wouldn't be that bad. For those of us with ultra-slow dial-up, validation could be a verrrry slow process.

Composite or collage? Sounds like a good idea but I also think it might be a nightmare to validate.

edit: They have programs? Now you tell me...just put together a calendar all by hand.

Caityln: Dpc does a great job on oversize prints. Also, I believe, Sam's club can print 11 by 17...don't quote me....
I use an HP 8750 for up to 13 by 19's.

Okay, you twisted my arm, here's another. Another reason not to throw out any old shots!
