Yes, I have just noticed that one of my images is getting very close to that "Magic" figure of "100 favorites".....
Can you guess which one..... It is so easy.....

I alway take my images of this plant in the late afternoon, when the sun has no shadows.....
I only mainly increase with blue and magentas, and some yellow for highlights.
If there is some of the colors in the agave plant by nature, they will definately come out like this one..... Hope that helps.
I sometimes use a fliter of lavendah at about 5% to 10% only.

Well, "Almost" congrats to Sherryl and Sher.
I just passed 100 a week or two ago on my Best of 2005 entry. But what's next? Now you have to wait to get another 89 or 90 to make it to the site favorites! My dream :)

Today, on the 25-10-2006, my image called "Agave Blue" reached a personal milestone for me.
It reached the magical number of "100 favorites" for an image, selected by our DPC members.
The member who helped to make one of my DPC dreams to come true, was

Hey bear_music, it happened on your birthday as well, mate....thats an added bonus....
I think my image "Agave Blue" did well, because it was "Kodak Photo of the Day" last March (2006) in Times Square, New York..... I kwon alot of members added it as a favorite after that.
Seeing it has never been in a challenge, I think I am very pleased with myself, about it reaching 100 Favorites.....
In less than 12 months as well.....

Hi mate, juat visited your portfolio, and yes, added that image that is getting close to the "100 favorites" to my favorites list.
Only have 7 more to get, for you to reach the 100 favorite milestone..... It won't be long.....

I don't have any one photo that has taken off like that...but I think as photographers we'd all love to get that one shot that folks really like. I think the most fav's I have on any one is only 6 - but I'm appreciative of those 6! :) |
