Well I definatly improved! well in from last... bit I know I could have done much better.. any comments how?

I think the comments during the challenge offer a lot of insight.

In particular, the processing on this image looks a bit over done or done by someone not very familiar with the tools.

My suggestion is read some of the DPC tutorials on post processing. If you are using PhotoShop or PS Elelments there are several 3rd party books that really help.

I think its a bit too dark and coming from me thats saying something. Ive had my fair share of "too dark" images. the subject and compostion seem nice though and i do like the coloring. hth

I agree...the tones are very grey in the highlights, so I am not sure if you need to work on your processing here...keep working on stuff and enter challenges and you'll learn

My first ever entry on DPC was
which came in second last and my highest rated photo was
couple of challenges ago.

My point - Keep at it, read and practise and mainly - ENJOY what you are doing.

I am soooo encouraged by your progress, thank you for sharing your first and best, hopefully I'll see some improvement in my shots over time.
