I think the photo is just a tiny bit on the dark side... I think you could probably adjust it up nicely with the levels adujstments....

great shot :)

Maybe just add a 1 or 2 pixel white border between the pic and the black frame. Neat shot.

Nice shot. I would prefer a white border - that would lighten it.

Great shot! I like the idea of a thin, white border, too. My only other question would be whether both words should be capitalized, or not... I'm not sure I understand why the word "Meeting" is capitalized and not "important."

I agree with everyone before me but with this added. I think you should crop out the bright portion of the fence on the left of the pic. It takes me away from your subject. good job.

The photo is a little dark, a lighter boarder may help or you may want to adjust the light saturation slightly. The man with the cane grabbed my attention but with all the background it distracts from him, you may find that by cropping in on the bench and the two men would imporve on it greatly. Crop out everything but the bench and the two men and see how it looks.

Cropping your picture differently was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your photo. I really like the subject of the two men. I wouldn't crop too tightly, though. Assuming these two are street folk, the surroundings give the photo more of that "feel", if you know what I mean. I like the building's moulding or whatever it is behind the bench and the downspout. So, to me, that is an important part of the photo. I happen to like the darkness because as the building does, it gives it a feeling of despair and difficulty. Perhaps the suggestion of adding a little white to the border would be a good idea. I also like the expression on the face of the man with the cap. He's looking at the other...thinking like what he's saying is difficult for him to understand, so I don't think "wise" is how I would describe him. Working with the elderly as much as I do as a nurse, I think of that look as maybe a sign of senility. I do like the title "Important Meeting" because even in the pressence of senility, what they are discussing or talking about is probably very important to them.

Just my thoughts. I really like the photo.

I personally don't find it dark. The dark stones and walls add to the mood of the photo. I also wouldn't crop it so tightly, but felt the subjects were a little high in the photo. I love this, it has a lot of emotion.

Or the man on the right is a poet. It would explain the bewildered expression on his companion's face.
:-)

What a remarkable shot! I'd leave it dark too and create about a dozen different crops. After a week or more of daily examination, I'd decide which one'd be a keeper.
I, too, am inclined to leaving as much intact as possible.

I agree - it's the only distraction in the photo. I don't think I would change the border, except to make it half as thick. Since the men are light, the darker parts of the scene are fine.

What a wonderful photo ! I love it.
