After scanning the first ten pages of this forum, I still appear to create a new thread...I am reading comments that hint at monitor callibration, but I am in need of some kind souls to educate me in this most helpful area. Apparently, there is something called a "CCI"...maybe...according to Google, but I am still "in over my head" somewhat. Since I have looked all over my Control Panel for some way to callibrate my monitor, it's clear that I don't know what I'm looking to find. Any help?
Let me repeat "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" for all I have learned on DPChallenge in this past year. If I ever become an accomplished photographer (and I am more hopeful of this possibility now that I ever have been before,) I will repeatedly Thank DPC for such an accomplishment.
For what it's worth, I enrolled in NYIP a few years ago, but got bogged-down, bored, easily-off-track, and haven't finished... because I didn't have the necessary day-to-day feedback of the DPC forums, Challenge grading comments, quick interaction of the PM's. I know the problem is not with NYIP, but with me. Bottom Line: DPChallenge is a better "fit" educationally for my mental format. Thanks! :)

Perhaps the information in this thread will be helpful to you.
Monitor calibration question - thread

or this one
calibrating monitor and colorspace

Note: It's not that I have some sort of exceptional memory or grand index of former threads...there's a search funcion on the Forum page...if you enclose terms in quotes they'll stay together (like "monitor calibration").
