Like a bear who suddenly turns the tables on his hunter, Clinton managed to show, yet again, how masterful he is at political calculation. Even if you disagree with him, you should head to youtube and search for his interview with Chris Wallace on Fox Sunday where he opened up a can of whoopass on the show.

Entertaining stuff.

Just keep watching for it. They go up as fast as FOX can pull them down.

See if this works:

Actually, I'm watching Fox News right now and they've done nothing for the past two hours but play that clip over and over. I'm pretty sure they aren't trying to hide anything.

Art, it depends on your definition of "with"...

Actually, it was just pleasant to see someone who could speak again. Nobody, like him or hate him, can claim Bush has any aptitude for impromptu or expository speaking. Just compare him to Tony Blair, who shares many of his views. Tony makes Bush sound like a babbling eight-year old. I was so dumbstruck by Blair's ability that I almost found myself agreeing with him. (Perhaps Blair is as adept as Bush is inept so it may not be a fair comparison).

Anyway, I don't think Bush could have pulled of the same attack as Clinton did whether it was calculated or not (and I'm sure it was).

He pointed out that when he did try to kill Mr. bin Laden, the Republicans accused him of trying to distract the nation from that oh-so crucial investigation into l'affaire Lewinsky ... perhaps if the Congressional leadership hadn't provided us with that little distraction, Mr. Clinton might have had more time to devote to the protection of the nation.

Clinton article

The fact that some admire the characteristics of President Bill Clinton is a frightening thought indeed. To admire a scoundrel, a liar, a cheat, is indeed a sign of one's values. Senator Clinton was quoted recently as supporting her husband and his remarkable take on history.

And if being the most powerful man in the world can't get you a... oral plesures, why bother... :P

P.S.
Clinton lied about having a sex with a woman. Bush lied about reasons to start a whole WAR!
You judge...

As have many others. Like I said, he's a cheat.

I agree with jonr.....i thought it was wrong that he cheated on his wife, but i dont think he is a bad president because of that. There are a lot of people in high places who cheat on their spouses, its just not published. And i've heard people say well he was supposed to be running the country meanwhile he's gettin his rocks off, please...you think your boss couldnt be doing it? what about your accountant? two very important people securing your financial future. It was only a big deal because people always need something to talk about and to point fingers at someone. What about the slut of an intern that did it? ohhh nooo she was the victim. everything is always one-sided. they both were wrong, who cares move on. If he could run again i'd vote for him.

There is a difference between accepting someone who is a scoundrel, liar and cheat - and admiring them. Those that admire President Bill Clinton, speak volumes about their values.

just because there is a chance that other "leader" or prominent people are doing it doesn't make it right. When someone's morals, ethics and principles are screwed up, there is noway that person can properly lead an entire country. If he can't even lead his own life, how can he lead a country? Now, I'm not saying that people can't change, nor am I saying that people should be perfect. I AM saying that deep character flaws such as that are very difficult to change and when a character flaw like that is present.

Is it also wrong to admire Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy? How about Oscar Wilde? Please send me a list of whom I am not allowed to admire.

edited to add:
Some people prefer the sex president to the torture president, and some prefer the torture president to the sex president. Yes, I think that does speak volumes about their values.

Then we better stop voting for anyone, because i'd be willing to lay money on the fact that 90% of all politicians have lied, cheated, or otherwise shown "poor moral values". Just because you don't get caught doesn't make the act go away.
